After negotiations over their now rather hefty salaries, the three main actors from the Hangover series will return for the franchise’s third installment. Ed Helms, Bradley Cooper, and Zach Galifianakis have reached an agreement for $15 million each to reprise their roles. This is triple the amount that they were offered for The Hangover Part II and already raises the price tag above the sequel’s entire budget of $35 million. With the first two films having grossed $467 million and $581 million respectively, this raise amounts to little more than a drop in the bucket for Warner Brothers studios.
Production is expected to begin this summer, with a Memorial Day 2013 release date.
