There’s Always Money in the Banana Stand: Arrested Development Cast Is All In

Dean Lorey announced on his blog last week that the entire cast of Arrested Development is confirmed for the 2013 ten-episode run, which will debut on Netflix. Additionally, Lorey and team confirmed that a movie will follow. Eager fans, like myself, will just have to watch reruns of one of the single greatest shows in TV history until then. Either that, or we can all dance in celebration.

  1. I think the most fascinating about this is that Netflix is such a central part of this. Will this change people's opinions on Netflix after the publicity fiasco that was their pricing model change? I have to admit, a peace offering of Arrested Development is a pretty sweet peace offering. Maybe throw in some Bacon and we can call it even.

  2. I thought it was interesting to watch the "bidding" war between networks that at one point abandoned the show. Ending up on Netflix will likely bring in a huge spike in subscriptions in advance of AD going live. I cancelled Netflix last month with no immediate intent to return, but I'll be back for AD, no doubt about it.
