The Help Wins at SAG Awards

In a slightly surprising turn of events at tonight’s Screen Actors Guild Awards, The Help ran away with the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, as well as for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role for star Viola Davis. Beating out the recent sweeping victories of The Artist may boost The Help‘s chances at next month’s Academy Awards.
