The second character teaser has gone online for The Master, Paul Thomas Anderson’s first movie since 2007’s There Will Be Blood. This one shows Phillip Seymour Hoffman’s character, a fictional stand-in for L. Ron Hubbard, for the first time. It also briefly introduces Amy Adams’ character and further goes into Joaquin Phoenix’s troubled veteran. Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood’s score is also bound to be just as good as his music for There Will Be Blood, his previous collaboration with Anderson. Expect this one to be a big contender for awards at the end of the year.
