It’s been awhile since Sylvester Stallone has written something for the screen that he isn’t directing or acting in, but according to Variety, his new project Homefront will star Jason Statham and James Franco.
Directed by Gary Fleder (Runaway Jury, Kiss The Girls), the film “follows Phil Broker (Statham), an ex-DEA agent who moves his family to a quiet town hoping to escape his past. However, he finds the town to be overrun with violence, drug traffickers and an evil meth magnate named Gator (Franco). To save his endangered family, retribution is now the only thing Broker seeks.”
Statham and Stallone will next be seen in The Expendables 2 while Franco will be seen in a ton of other films, but the guy is playing Hugh Hefner in Lovelace.
