‘Google Play’ Debuts – Movies, Music, Books, Apps On The Web

If you’ve been on Google today and  logged in, you may have noticed a new option –  “Play.” Until recently, I hadn’t heard anything about this new Google feature, which is surprising considering what it offers.

Google Play is essentially iTunes on the web and the Cloud. Obviously, it doesn’t have quite the full library that iTunes offers, but for Android users, this is probably fantastic. Google isn’t excluding anyone either.

You can rent movies and purchase books, games, apps, and music. You can see the full list of features and details here. Currently a significant number of albums are on sale for $3.99, including Jay-Z and Kanye West’s Watch the Throne, which is one of CT’s favorites of 2011.
