Today is a milestone of sorts, but also a season of change. It is officially the first day of Autumn. The leaves are already changing in Chicago, but the weather feels the same as it has since May.
On another level, today is also a milestone personally. Today marks the 265th day in my photo project. 100 days to go until the end of the year and the end of my first 365 photography project.
If you’ve seen, followed, read about, or experienced, a lot of photographers take their last day in their project to look back and reflect on what they’ve accomplished. With 100 days to go, I’ve already started that. Instead of a final reflective moment, 365 days in the making, I think it will be more challenging – and rewarding, to take advantage of these last 100 days with this project.
Starting today, I’m going to post 100 things I’ve learned from this project began on January 1st. I’m not certain that anything learned will be incredibly profound or surprising, but it will certainly offer those few that have followed this project a chance to read my thoughts.
I’m hoping that if you haven’t had a chance to see any of my project yet, maybe you’ll keep up-to-date in the last 100 days. Please let me know what you think as this bad boy winds down.
Thanks to those that have followed thus far, keep hanging in there and keep in touch as I finish this out.
