365 in 2009 – I need your help!

2009 is almost upon us. Many will look back at 2008 with a sense of dread over the economy, job losses, war, etc.

I'll always look back at 2008 as one of the best years of my life.

In 2008 I got married to my soul-mate and saw someone elected to the White House who actually inspires me. That's a tough year to beat.

As 2008 ends and 2009 begins, I'm trying to come up with some New Years Resolutions – something I don't think I've ever taken serious or fulfilled.

One of my resolutions is to complete a 365 project. For those who don't know what that is, it's very simple. I'll take 1 photo a day for an entire year and upload them to my Flickr page. Its a very common project among photographers with vastly different focuses. That's where my problem now lies.

I have a goal, but I lack a focus. I want to begin my project (naturally) on the start day of all things – New Year's Day. Here's where I need your help. What should be my focus? My theme?

I have a few ideas, but nothing that makes me jump with anticipation. Time is running out, please let me know your ideas!

I'll be in touch soon…

UPDATE Tuesday, 12/30: Over 70 views and only 2 suggestions? Come on people!

I'll get you started:

-iPhone pictures only

-photos of people waiting for something

-photos that represent song lyrics

-photos that represent movie quotes

-photos recreating a children's story

-nature, growth, construction, evolution, etc.

  1. Do something like taking a picture of your shoes in a different spot everyday.
    OR
shoot the sunrise or sunset from the same angle
